The challenge is simple: To visit all 67 stations on the London Underground network that are within Oyster card zone 1 in the fastest time. You will be in competition with other teams (and the trains themselves) for the right to the Zone 1 Challenge Cup winner and be holder of the trophy for the year! There are generous prizes on offer for the other podium positons too, so are you up for the challenge?
The recent extension of the Northern Line to Battersea brings three new stations into zone 1- Kennington, Nine Elms and Battersea Power Station. This means the record has been reset for the new 67 station configuration, so why not come along and try to set a new record time for others to beat! The current record is 03:02:46.
As well as the actual zone one challenge (which is the main event), afterwards there will be a pub style quiz, again with prizes available, which you may prefer instead. Participation in the pub quiz/after event social is not dependent on you doing the actual challenge.
Please familiarise yourself with the rules of the challenge to ensure you do not fall foul of any of them.

Even though this is an open invitation event, it would greatly assist me if you are attending (even if at this stage you are a maybe) to contact me via email or social media to confirm your attendance so I know roughly how many people I am expecting, especially for the quiz / after event meet.
I look forward to welcoming you, be it a new challenger or those who attend year after year.
